## Why searches pause

Tailoring quality depends on knowing your real history. When we hit an
ambiguity that can't be resolved from your profile — conflicting experience
entries, unclear preferences, a judgment call about how to present something
— a wrong guess on a resume is far more costly than a short pause. So the
search pauses and asks.

## How it works

1. A search that hits such a question **pauses** — it does not silently guess
2. You receive an **email with a secure link** to that search's clarification page
3. You **answer** the question, or defer it
4. Once all blocking clarifications are answered, the search **resumes
   automatically** — nothing to re-trigger
5. Follow-up questions can appear while an answer is being applied — the
   next question sometimes surfaces as your answer is processed

## Where to answer

- The emailed link opens that search's clarification page with all pending
  questions in one place
- The dashboard also surfaces pending clarifications per workspace, so you
  can get there without the email

## In practice

Answer in plain language, with specifics — real numbers, concrete facts.
Your answers are saved into your workspace files, so you won't be asked
the same thing twice.

Answering happens in one place, in plain language — no configuration, no
flags. Once the blocking questions are answered, the search picks up from
exactly where it paused and continues to delivery on its own.
