## Honest about gaps

If the job description asks for a skill your history doesn't show, the
resume never fakes it. The gap is reported to you, and the match score
reflects it — a lower honest score beats a higher fabricated one. When a
missing fact is something you'd know (an employment-history detail that
simply isn't written down yet), the search pauses and asks you for it
([Clarifications →](./clarifications.md)) instead of guessing.
