We are actively working on profile improvements — surfacing the value of your achievements, skill-gap surfacing, and bullet/impact evaluation — so Jobbee can help strengthen your base documents over time. Those are in development; today, Jobbee tailors. When an interview lands, we’re building prep material generated from your own project write-ups — reference details for every bullet on your tailored resume.

Scouting — the honest version

For entry-level candidates and fresh graduates especially, where you apply matters as much as what you send. Shipped today: Jobbee searches across multiple sources, scores every role against your profile, and keeps a posting you have already been through from coming back around. Actively steering toward the least-competitive roles — competition-aware selection — is in development, and it is the next big step for exactly those candidates.

The workspace files that do the work

Your resume shows maybe the top 10% of what you have done. The other 90% — the decisions you made, the scale you worked at, the why behind it all — never fits on the page. That 90% lives in your workspace files, and they are how you talk to Jobbee — it finds your jobs and writes your resumes.

Three categories: an Applicant Profile, a Base Resume, and Project files. The first two are one file each — system-controlled, always the same file. Project files are fully open: create as many as you like, name them however makes sense to you.

Don’t worry about length or writing style. Plain, honest notes beat polished prose — Jobbee reads for facts, not grammar.

Applicant Profile — talk to the job search

One fixed file. The workspace settings already cover your target roles, salary, and locations — this category is for what they can’t hold. Jobbee reads it when searching for jobs, for the specifics of your situation: for a cross-border hunt, the exact visas and work permits you hold and where they let you work; the skills you have at real depth; anything about your search Jobbee should respect — if it matters, write it here.

Base Resume — your resume’s bigger sibling

One fixed file. Your resume’s bigger sibling. Start from your current resume, then extend it with everything that didn’t fit: six pages, ten pages — there is no length limit. More real history means stronger, truer tailored resumes.

Project files — one per project

Every project you’ve worked on deserves its own file — at any level, in any role: engineering, product, design, operations, people, or anything else. Don’t trim to fit: capture each and every detail you know — your role and tier on it, what you personally contributed, where you led or influenced, the decisions and their trade-offs, the scale it ran at, what broke and how you fixed it. One file per project is the intent, not a rule — if a project has that much to tell, give it as many companion files as you need, sharing its name: Payments_Leader, Payments_Migrations — no size limit on any of them, no limit on how many. The bar for “enough”: your file should hold the answer to any relevant interview question about that project — not just the highlights. This depth strengthens every tailored resume, at every level.

Keep them current, as you go

Update these files as you go — when a project wraps, when an achievement lands — not when you become open to work. By then the details you need are exactly the ones you’ve forgotten. Think of them as a journal you keep for your future self.

What pays off most in these files

• Numbers — users, requests/sec, cost saved, latency cut, team size
• Decisions + the “why” behind them
• Things that got adopted, reused, or open-sourced
• Challenges & recoveries — the hard problems, what broke, how it got fixed (interviewers probe this)
• Skills at depth — the specifics behind every keyword

Tiny details count. That one script that saved 30 hours a week? It belongs in your Applicant Profile.

Jobbee never invents

Every line Jobbee writes traces back to something you shared. It re-weights and rewrites your experience for each job — it never invents a claim you didn’t make. The more real detail you give it, the stronger (and truer) the result.

When Jobbee asks, answer well

Sometimes a job needs a fact Jobbee can’t find in your files — so it pauses and asks you before it continues. Answer with real numbers and specifics: your answer is saved into your workspace files, so you won’t be asked the same thing twice.

How a search works

One search targets exactly one job — so every resume is written for that specific role, not copy-pasted:

1. Matching roles are found — searched across sources, scored against your profile — and no repeats: a posting you’ve been through doesn’t come back around
2. A custom resume is created — genuinely adapted to the role, not a keyword dump
3. It asks, not guesses — if a decision only you can make comes up, the search pauses and emails you a link, then resumes once you answer
4. Quality is checked — layout, truncation, and anything unprofessional is caught before it reaches you
5. You get the email — the polished PDF and the job link. Review, apply, repeat

Jobbee never applies for you — you review and submit every application yourself. Nothing is ever submitted without your click.

Your AI assistant can fill in your workspace files for you — from what it already knows about your work, or by interviewing you first and marking gaps for you to fill. Hand it this:

The best write-ups are written where the work happened. If your assistant lives in your coding environment — your IDE or terminal — it has already seen your projects up close: the commits, the decisions, the corrections it gave you. Have it write the project file from that, then paste the markdown into the workspace editor. Copy-paste is today’s bridge — a direct connection is on the way.
