Terms of Service

The Short Version

Jobbee generates tailored resumes and delivers them to your inbox. You stay in control — we don't apply to jobs for you, and you review every resume before submitting it. Resume content is generated by AI and may contain errors, so it's your responsibility to review each output before using it.

1. What Jobbee Does

Jobbee is an AI-powered service that (a) finds job postings that match your stated preferences, (b) rewrites your resume to align with a specific job description, and (c) delivers the resulting PDF to your email. Jobbee does not submit job applications on your behalf. You review each tailored resume and decide where, whether, and how to submit it.

2. Your Account

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your contact email current — verification and delivery rely on it.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Truthful resumes. Jobbee rewrites your real experience to align with a role. You may not use it to fabricate jobs, employers, education, or skills you don't have.
  • One account per person. Don't create multiple accounts to bypass daily quota limits.
  • No abuse. No attempts to overload the service, scrape its output, reverse-engineer the models, or resell tailored resumes as a service.
  • Comply with employer requirements. You're responsible for answering employer questions truthfully and for any certifications, work authorisation, or other claims your application implies.

4. AI-Generated Output

Resumes produced by Jobbee are generated by AI models from the materials you provide. They may contain errors, omissions, or phrasing that doesn't match your intent. You are responsible for reviewing every resume before you submit it.Jobbee is a drafting aid, not a guarantee of accuracy, interview offers, or job placement.

Jobbee does not verify that the information in your resume meets a particular employer's requirements — that responsibility remains with you.

5. Plans, Quota & Referrals

  • Free tier. A limited number of resume generations per day, reset daily. The current limit is shown in your dashboard and may change as we learn about usage.
  • Bring Your Own Key (BYOK). If you connect your own LLM provider API key, you receive a higher daily limit; your key is encrypted at rest and only used to run your own workflows.
  • Referral bonuses. Invited friends who verify their email unlock a temporary daily-quota boost for both of you; overlapping referrals stack during their active windows.
  • Quotas are subject to fair use. We may pause or adjust accounts that attempt to circumvent limits.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the resume, profile, and preferences you upload. You grant Jobbee a limited licence to process that content solely to generate tailored resumes and deliver them to you. We don't claim ownership of your content and we don't sell it. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is stored, processed, and deleted.

7. Service Availability

Jobbee is provided on an "as available" basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access and aren't liable for outages, scheduling delays, or failures of third-party providers (your BYOK provider, the email transport, hosting infrastructure).

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Jobbee is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobbee's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Jobbee is currently a free service, so that amount is zero. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, including missed job opportunities or lost income. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can stop using Jobbee and delete your workspaces at any time from the dashboard; this makes your content inaccessible and stops further processing. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

10. General

  • Disputes. If something goes wrong, email us first at hello@jobbee.io — most issues can be resolved directly. If we can't resolve it, you may pursue the remedies available to you under applicable law.
  • Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full force and effect.
  • Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Jobbee regarding the service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We'll update this page when these terms change, and we'll note the new effective date above. Material changes will also be announced via the email on file for your account. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
